THE FALL OF ADAM AND EVE

Our very first parents, Adam and Eve, were put in the Garden of Eden, after they were made by God, where many other good and beautiful creatures of God were also placed. GEN.1:31

(7)"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.(8) And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom he had formed.” GEN.2:7,8

Therefore Satan planned a trick for Adam and his wife so that they would not enjoy further the Edenic happiness and eternity. He immediately beguiled them through the most subtle beast of the time, the serpent. This made our great ancestors fall from the grace and glory of the Lord God, and thereby reflected on all their descendants throughout every generation. ROM.5:12-14; 1COR.15:21,22.

Due to this unfortunate situation, God also made a salvation plan intended for only those who will remain loyal and faithful to Him and be obedient to His commandments. As such, He had many soberly minded and meek people like Abel, Seth, Enoch, Methuselah , Lamech, Noah and many others who obeyed God’s voice despite Satan’s existence and his tricks against them. But due to the cunning ways of Satan, which made him able to deceive his fellow angels (REV.12:4,9) and our first parents in the Garden of Eden, he again furthered his course against all generations just to thwart our effort at enjoying God’s favour. By this he was able to win Cain, Adam’s first born, to his side by making him kill his own blood brother. Cain was envious of Abel because God accepted Abel's sacrifice over that of Cain and removed Cain's authority over Abel. Cain then killed Abel due to his growing envy and hatred.

"And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.” GEN.4:8
