POPE OR THE BEAST AS HEAD OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Again, think about a church and know for sure that every church is supposed to have her figure head, who is the priest or pastor or bishop in charge. But in the case of the Catholics, they call THAT POSITION the HOLY SEE which is some times known as the PAPACY. Honestly, in the catholic priesthood, they have a hierarchy where the Pope is regarded as the supreme head of the church. The papacy here becomes a throne or official seat for the highest position in the Catholic Church. But quite apart from that, the Pope also acts as the political head of the Vatican, a great city in itself in the city of Rome. That is where the pope's seat is situated and all ecclesiastical and poliical powers come from.
