SATAN’S LAST DEVICES AGAINST HUMANITY IN THIS LAST GENERATION

There is an adage that ‘the Tsetsefly always has bad motives in its head. So does the arch-enemy of mankind. This simply means that Satan always has evil motives against us, thus he continues his fight against us in this lost world just to deny us of entering into the divine glory promised by the Lord. Quite apart from that he also tries to thwart our effort at getting our basic needs of this world. Also during Christ’s life time, the Israelites rejected their only God-given Saviour thereby making them lose the bountiful blessings Christ brought to them. It is as a result of their unbelief in Christ that, the chance was paved for the non-Jewish peoples' inclusion in the salvation process.

But since the great foe who never sleeps still exists, we gentiles also have our share of his attacks. As soon as he realized that the gospel of Christ has received proper attention in the gentile world, Satan devised another strategy to destroy us also. He implanted boastings and pride in the gentiles, hence another fall from the grace of God. These advanced techniques by Satan have also established some kind of backsliding and apostasy among the gentiles from the real truth. That is we gentiles have rejected the royal law of God, by saying that whoever obeys the law is accursed.

Adamic age of deception by the devil through the serpent has taken retrospective effect in our age. This is because instead of the old subtle serpent, ministers of the gospel are being used by Satan to deceive masses to disobey their Holy Eternal Father (God). Satan has now entered many churches deceiving the pastors, bishops, prophets and evangelists to teach some strange doctrines in order to lead masses into destruction. We gentiles have also committed the same mistake of unbelief the Olive Tree (Israelites) committed.(ROM. 11:17). This is because most of the Jews rejected Christ (JOHN 1:11) and many so-called Christians today have repeated the same mistake by rejecting the law of God, which is epitomized by Christ Himself.

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness of God. ROM.10:4

Thanks be to God for the proper interpretation of this very quotation, which means Christ is the purpose of the law, which each and everyone should follow for righteousness sake. Grammatically, the word END as found in that context, when expanded could mean THE END RESULT OR PURPOSE. But unfortunately many so-called Christians interpret the above text to mean the coming into being of Christ makes the law of God of none effective. Meanwhile it is reported that faith in Christ does not abolish the law and makes it void.

"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.” ROM.3:31

Because of unbelief, we have also trampled underfoot the laws of God according to ISAI. 24:5 and forsaken the right way to heaven. (2PET.2:15). Christ says, I am the way, the truth, and the life, that leads people to my father, and the law is also being described here as truth, way and life according to the following passages below:

"Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the TRUTH” PSA.119:142

"For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the WAY OF LIFE” PROV.6:23.

"Keep my commandments, and LIVE; and my law as the apple of thine eye.” PROV.7:2.

This means if people should reject the law of God, it implies they have rejected Christ the only way to life eternal, just as the Jews did. You see how Satan always works through disobedience against the Holy One? He always causes men to sin against their maker through disobedience; because he knows he fell by that method, and that is the only way human beings could be made to fall, since it constitutes pride. ISAI.14:14.

One can not claim that the churches of today preach against the good law which states that: one should not have any other gods before the Almighty God, worship idols, use the name of the Creator in vain, dishonour thy parents, kill, steal, commit adultery, bear false witness nor covet thy neighbour’s property; but one most important commandment out of the Ten, which pronounces blessings and access to the kingdom of heaven has been relegated to the background. This is in the observance of the 7th Day Sabbath, the fourth of the Ten Commandments. (EXOD.20:1-17; ISAI.56:2-6; 58:13,14). Ignorantly many people have totally rejected and replaced the fourth law which shows us the way to worship the Lord, with Idolatry of Sun’s day (English name of the first day of the week) worship on the first day of the week. They have also forgotten that Christ says, He is the Lord of the Sabbath and that this same day of honour was purposely made for mankind.

(27) "And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: (28) Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. MK.2:27,28.

Furthermore, one must note that even in our various homes disobedient children hardly get anything good from their parents as compared to obedient and respectful ones. Therefore how can one expect the Almighty God, the Father of all souls and lover of obedient ones, to give His spirit to those who disobey his Holy Sabbath Law? God forbid.
So the comparison between ROM.10:5-8 and DEUT.30:11-14 will teach us that Christ is the Law of God, and that if people should reject the law, Christ is rather rejected and vice versa.

(11) "For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. (12) It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? (13) Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? (14) But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.” DEUT.30:11-14

(5) "For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. (6) But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above.) (7)Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) (8) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;” ROM.10:5-8

If these two scriptures are critically and carefully examined or compared to each other, one could see that Saint Paul quoted verbatim from the Old Testament to show that Jesus Christ is the Word (Law) of God, and the Law of God requires Christ. Amen!! In DEUT.30:14, it is written that, ‘But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it’, and ROM.10:8 also says, ‘But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach’. Don’t you see that these two texts correspond to each other in context? What else do you want to hear before you understand that Christ is the purpose of the Law of God because He alone has paid the penalty for our breaking of the law?

This presupposes that all those who claim the law of God is nailed to the cross are confused and do not understand what they say. Since the Law (Christ) is still alive or resurrected from the dead, any tongue that proclaims that the law of God is nailed to the cross forever, also claims Jesus is not Lord, and that he is still in the grave and did not resurrect at all. This is another blasphemous method adopted by Satan to trap masses into destruction, because the Spirit of God through Saint Paul says that, ‘If you confess with your mouth that, Jesus is Lord’, and also believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (ROM.10:9) So if you claim that the law is cancelled or nailed to cross, it means Christ was not raised from the dead and you also shall remain in your sins and die. Please clinch to Jesus Christ and His truth, because you can only be saved through obedience to His laws. ACTS 4:12 tells us that we can only be saved by faith in Christ's sacrifice for our sins.

"But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” JAMES 1:25

This same law of God that will be used to judge all and sundry should be obeyed without leaving out even a single portion of the law untouched. JAMES 2:8-12
